Warnings: This device must be tested in accordance with testing instructions. It should not be used as the sole initiating device to discharge AFFF, deluge, or chemical suppression systems. It is not intended to be used in explosive environments.

Operating Temperature: 40°F/120°F (4.5°C/49°C)

The Model VSR-F is a vane type waterflow switch designed for use on wet sprinkler systems. It can also be used as a sectional waterflow detector on large systems. The two single pole, double throw (SPDT) switches are activated when a flow of 10 gallons per minute or more occurs downstream of the device. A 10 GPM flow condition is necessary to overcome the adjustable pneumatic retard period. The unit’s die-cast housing has a cover with tamper-resistant screws that require a special key to remove.
